Throughout my childhood, we moved constantly. I found a new way to make friends, but it ended up being at the expense of others. The lesson learned would haunt me for decades.
This morning, during a speaking opportunity, I received the following question: How do I not get overlooked only having a high school diploma when most people require a 2-year degree as a minimum for an entry level position?
Take it from an old man. Don’t trade life changing experiences for stuff that in the end, will not matter.
Step back and take an objective look at your Circle of Influence and you will begin to notice you are those that surround you.
